Our team combines expertise in medicine, physics, and engineering, united by one goal: making clinical-grade phototherapy accessible and convenient for people living with psoriasis, eczema, and vitiligo.
By combining scientific research, clinical insight, and personal experience, we developed UV Tactus — a CE-certified UV LED phototherapy device. Its patented design, professional-grade dosimetry system, and companion mobile app are built to ensure precise, safe, and reliable treatment at home.

Romualdas Rudys, PhD in Biophysics
Romualdas is the main creator of UV Tactus, co-founder, and CEO of SCI Health. A physicist and laser specialist, he has dedicated his career to exploring how light can be harnessed for medical purposes.
“We put light to work for skin conditions — something proven effective for decades,” he explains. “But we made it possible to deliver clinical-quality treatment safely at home — giving patients confidence, control, and a valuable alternative to traditional phototherapy.”
Arūnas Žebrauskas, Medical doctor
Arūnas is a doctor — and also lives with psoriasis. His personal and professional experience shaped UV Tactus from the start.
“I tried countless creams that only worked for a while,” he recalls. “Clinic phototherapy helped, but travelling several times a week for just minutes of treatment wasn’t sustainable. That’s why we created a solution that’s both effective and convenient — one I can trust as a doctor and as a patient.”

UV Tactus is CE MDR certified
UV Tactus is certified in Germany as Class IIa medical device according to the new EU Medical Device Regulation (MDR 2017/745/EU), which enforces the highest and most up-to-date standards of safety and effectiveness. It is marked with unique CE 0197 label and can be used at home and in clinic to treat psoriasis, eczema and vitiligo.
